Green Mountain Council, BSA welcomes Arato

Scout Executive, Ed McCollin announced that Francesca Arato has accepted the position of District Executive for the Calvin Coolidge District of the Green Mountain Council. In her role, Francesca will be responsible for the Scouting programs in Windsor and Windham counties focusing on growing Scouting and supporting the hundreds of volunteers who serve as leaders for the Scouting units in the district.

BCEN honors top board certified trauma nurse with 2019 Distinguished TCRN Award

The Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN), the benchmark for board certification across the emergency nursing spectrum, announced today that University of Vermont Medical Center (UVM Medical Center) emergency nurse Travis Beebe-Woodard, BSN, RN, CEN, CPEN, TCRN, is the 2019 Distinguished TCRN Award winner. BCEN presented the national award to Beebe-Woodard at TraumaCon2019, the Society of Trauma Nurses’ annual conference, in Lexington, Kentucky this morning.
