Community Bank NA announces promotion of Hampton

Community Bank N.A. is pleased to announce the promotion of Megan Hampton to branch manager of its Waterbury location. She brings to the position more than 12 years of experience in retail management. In her new role, Hampton will oversee the daily operations of the office, ensuring every customer receives the highest level of service. She will manage the effective delivery of the branch’s sales and service activities to ensure operational efficiency and integrity through adherence to policies and procedures.

“We’re excited for Megan to take on this key position within the bank,” Community Bank N.A. District Manager Matt Villemaire said. “Megan has spent more than a decade in leadership positions. This experience makes her the perfect fit to lead our Waterbury team and drive the continued success of the branch.”

Hampton has been with Community Bank N.A. since August 2018 and most recently served as branch manager in training. Prior, Hampton spent time with Express as general manager.

Outside of the office, Hampton is an active member in her community. She is a member of the Central Vermont Chamber of Commerce and participates annually in Special Olympics Vermont’s Penguin Plunge and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night. Hampton resides in Burlington with her daughter, Lauren.
