Congratulations to Angelique Sutton, Alivia Reed and Katherine Sawyer recipients of the Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Career & Technical Education Scholarship. These three 2019 high school graduates attended a technical career program as part of their high school curriculum, and were awarded the scholarship based upon their academic success and determination to further advance their education and vocational skills. Vermont Association for Justice announces ED Amy Caldwell
Vermont Association for Justice’s Board of Governors announced that they have selected Amy Caldwell to serve as the Associations’ Executive Director. “After a very thorough search, the Board is excited to welcome Amy Caldwell to lead VTAJ into the future,” said Carey Rose, President of the Board. “Amy brings extensive nonprofit management experience to our association. Critical Care Paramedic Considine receives national award
On June 24, 2019, Rescue Inc Critical Care Paramedic Mark Considine received the 2019 Star of Life award in Washington, DC. Mark has been providing medical care to the Brattleboro and West River Valley areas for over 33 years. He continues to provide highly experienced and compassionate care to patients every day, treating thousands of patients in his career. He also contributes to the training and mentorship of the newest paramedics to the field.
Cx Associates adds engineer to its team
Cx Associates, a leading energy-engineering firm and pioneer in the field of building commissioning, announces the addition of Wilson Yandell to its team. Wilson applies his experience in energy storage and thermal management to projects for Cx Associates’ clients.
Before joining Cx Associates, Wilson worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Taiga Motors of Montreal, QC. He is experienced in system design, manufacturing and testing, all focused around increased energy efficiency.
One Credit Union awards $6,000 in scholarships
One Credit Union awarded six $1,000 scholarships to high school graduates across Vermont and New Hampshire. Brett Smith, President and CEO of One Credit Union, noted to qualify applicants must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or better, demonstrate financial need, and be eligible for membership at One Credit Union. The applicants must also submit a 300 word essay explaining their experience with teamwork and community building.
