Rutland Regional welcomes new radiologist

Rutland Regional Medical Center welcomes Andrew C. Boyer, MD, to its Diagnostic Imaging Department. Dr. Boyer is board-certified in radiology with a clinical expertise in breast and body imaging.

Dr. Boyer graduated from the University of Vermont College of Medicine with a Doctor of Medicine before completing his Internship, Residency and a Fellowship in breast and body imaging at William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan.

Cohen honored at AANP conference

Laura M. Cohen, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with Rutland Regional Medical Center was a recent recipient of the prestigious American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) 2019 State Award for Excellence. Laura, along with other nurse practitioners and nurse practitioner advocates were honored at an awards ceremony and reception held during the AANP 2019 National Conference June 18-23 in Indianapolis, IN.

New audiologist joins Rutland Regional Medical Center

Rutland Regional is pleased to welcome Carissa McCauley, Audiologist (AuD) to our ENT & Audiology team. Her focus will be on the prevention, diagnosis, and the treatment of hearing and balance disorders for people of all ages.

Originally from Altoona, Pennsylvania, Carissa received a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from California University of Pennsylvania, and her Doctor of Audiology from West Virginia University. She completed her clinical residency in audiology with ENT Associates of Central Pennsylvania.
