Camp Ta-Kum-Ta appoints new interim Executive Director, Gallivan

The Camp Ta-Kum-Ta Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Patrick Gallivan of South Burlington, VT was named Interim Executive Director on July 16, 2019. He officially took the helm on August 4, 2019. Leahy honored with ‘Congressional Champion Award’

Senator Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) was recognized for his long leadership on efforts to end the use of cluster munitions, anti-personnel landmines, and other unexploded ordnance (UXO), which continue to kill innocent civilians long after conflicts have ended.

Legacies of War, a nonprofit, nonpartisan project dedicated to raising awareness about the history of the Vietnam War-era bombing during the secret war in Laos, presented Leahy with the Congressional Champion Award in a ceremony in Washington.

Gifford welcomes Poulin to Behavioral Health

Psychiatrist Julie Poulin, MD, PhD, has joined the Behavioral Health team at Gifford Medical Center. Poulin brings to her role several years of experience in health care, most recently as medical director of psychiatric services and attending psychiatrist at Rutland Regional Medical Center. At Gifford, she looks forward to providing mental health treatment to outpatients, she said, “where I can really follow their progress.”
