The Camp Ta-Kum-Ta Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Patrick Gallivan of South Burlington, VT was named Interim Executive Director on July 16, 2019. He officially took the helm on August 4, 2019. Gallivan said of his appointment, “I am delighted to be able to serve the campers and families of Ta-Kum-Ta and work with the extraordinary staff, volunteers and donors to create opportunities for the magic of Ta-Kum-Ta to happen.
"Patrick has volunteered at Camp for 25 years and served on both the Board of Directors and the Camp Operations Leadership Team. His vast knowledge of our camp operations and love of our camp families made him the ideal person to help us during this transition while we actively search for our next leader," said Linda Goodrum, Board President.
Camp Ta-Kum-Ta's mission is to provide challenging, extraordinary experiences in a safe and loving environment for children who have or have had cancer and their families. Camp offers programs year-round and exists for Vermont and Northern New York children, (including other out-of-state children who are treated in Vermont), at no cost to their families.
