VLS professor Milne elected to The American Law Institute

Vermont Law School (VLS) professor Janet Milne has been elected to The American Law Institute (ALI), a leading independent organization that produces scholarly work that clarifies, modernizes, and improves the law, and therefore, the administration of justice.

ALI’s membership is comprised of judges, lawyers, and law professors, and is selected on the basis of outstanding achievement in the legal profession. All new members are nominated by current ALI members and voted upon by the ALI Council based on their merits and potential contribution to the Institute.

Central Vermont Medical Center hires new VP of practice operations

Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC) recently announced that Anne Coetzee has joined the organization as Vice President of Practice Operations following an extensive national search. Coetzee brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in practice operations at integrated health care delivery systems located in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

“We’re excited to welcome Anne to the team,” said CVMC President and COO, Anna Tempesta Noonan. “Her experience leading robust and efficient patient-centered practices is a great fit for the health needs of Central Vermont.”

SVMC ExpressCare welcomes Patorti

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC) is pleased to welcome Family Nurse Practitioner Lisa Patorti to SVMC ExpressCare and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Putnam Physicians. Patorti earned her master’s degree in nursing from Purdue University Global. She received her bachelor’s in nursing from Kaplan University. In addition, she attended Vermont Technical College in Bennington for her registered nurse and licensed practical nurse credentials.
