At an April 7 Statehouse ceremony during Prevention Day 2022, Prevention Works! VT bestowed its annual Champion Awards on nine individuals and organizations for their work on behalf of substance-misuse prevention in Vermont.
Vermont Council on World Affairs hires new program manager
The Vermont Council on World Affairs has named Avery Anderson as its new program manager of exchanges. She joins the council from Pathfinder International, where she served most recently as business development coordinator.
In her new role, Anderson will oversee the VCWA's exchange programs, including the US Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program, the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative, the Open World program of the US Congress and additional youth exchanges and programs.
