Beth McCormack named dean of Vermont Law School
Beth McCormack, interim dean of Vermont Law School, has been named to the dean's post on a permanent basis. With “overwhelming support” from the hiring committee, McCormack was chosen because of her strong showing of student-centered leadership at Vermont Law and Graduate School over the last two years, her dedication to strengthening the JD program and her love of the school.

Golden joins Community National Bank lending team
Maureen Golden has been named vice president and commercial loan officer at Community National Bank. She will work out of the bank's Burlington loan production office in the Hickok & Boardman building on Shelburne Road.
Golden brings to her new role 35 years of banking experience, including extensive knowledge of retail banking, wealth management and all services related to business banking. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's in law, both from Champlain College.
