Ellen Miller, a 2023 graduate of University of Colorado Law School, has joined the trusts and estates group at the northern New England law firm Downs Rachlin Martin. She will be based at DRM's Lebanon, New Hampshire, office.

Prior to law school, Miller worked for several years at an aviation safety and sustainability nonprofit in Washington, D.C.

Tim Rieser, senior foreign policy adviser to former U.S. Sen. Patrick Leahy, will be honored in October as the Vermont Council on World Affairs' 2023 Person of the Year. The award is given annually to an individual who embodies the qualities inherent in promoting international understanding and building ties between the U.S. and the world.

Lisa Kuneman, associate housing developer at Windham & Windsor Housing Trust, has graduated from NeighborWorks America’s Advancing Leaders in Real Estate Program. Kuneman is one of 18 emerging leaders to graduate with this inaugural class of real estate staff.
