Vermont Law names new director of Environmental Justice Clinic
Mia Montoya Hammersley, former of counsel attorney at a law firm in Las Cruces, New Mexico, has been named director of the Environmental Justice Clinic at Vermont Law and Graduate School. In this role, she will oversee one of the few law school clinics in the United States specifically devoted to environmental justice.

Vermont Creative Network welcomes two new zone agents
Corinna Thurston, executive director of the Milton Artists' Guild, and Lisa Mitchell, executive director of the Town Hall Theater in Middlebury, have joined the Vermont Creative Network as zone agents.
VCN is an initiative of the Vermont Arts Council that works to elevate Vermont's creative sector. Thurston will lead the organization's Chittenden County Zone, and Mitchell will head up the Addison/Rutland Zone.
Hunger Free Vermont welcomes four new board members
Business leaders Lucy Halvorson, Sirisha Hawley, Joshua Kurt and Addison Williams have been elected to the Hunger Free Vermont Board of Directors.
Halvorson, a Vermont native and a graduate of the University of Vermont, is a registered associate at the investment banking firm Morgan Stanley. Hawley, of Colchester, is a tax partner at the certified public accounting firm Gallagher, Flynn & Co.
