Sheri Baraw Smith takes reins of Green Mountain Inn
Sheri Baraw Smith, who previously spent 30 years as general manager of her family-owned establishment, the Stoweflake Resort and Spa, has been named general manager of the historic Green Mountain Inn in Stowe.
Before joining the inn, Smith worked with The Olympia Cos. as a task force general manager at The Glen House in New Hampshire. She has also served as a business consultant to the ownership at the Basin Harbor Club in Vergennes.
Red Cross of Northern New England welcomes new leader of Vermont chapter
Sarah Lemnah, former executive director of the Cancer Patient Support Foundation in Williston, has been named executive director of the Vermont chapter of the American Red Cross of Northern New England.
Lemnah is an accomplished nonprofit professional with more than 20 years of experience in development, communications, volunteer management and strategic leadership. She is a member of the University of Vermont Cancer Center Advisory Board and co-chair of Vermonters Taking Action Against Cancer.
