Christopher G. Filippi, M.D., associate professor of radiology at the University of Vermont (UVM) College of Medicine, was recently appointed the John P. & Kathryn H. Tampas, M.D. '54 Green & Gold Professor in Radiology.

Council Executive Board President, Paul Hudson, has announced that Ed McCollin has been selected as the new Scout Executive for the Green Mountain Council headquartered in Waterbury, Vermont effective August 16, 2010.

Andrew L. Koo, MD recently joined Family Psychiatry Associates, a member of the Central Vermont Medical Center Group. Dr. Koo is trained in adult and child psychiatry having recently completed his Psychiatry Residency and Child Psychiatry Fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

The Brattleboro Memorial Hospital Rehab Department is happy to announce the addition of a new occupational therapist. Orthotist Teri K. Mauler, OTR/L, will provide outpatient, inpatient, acute rehab, and acute care services for upper extremity specialized care with an emphasis on rehabilitation for the hands. As an orthotist, Teri will also be able to provide orthotic consultations.

The College of St. Joseph in Rutland is pleased to announce the appointment of Deidre Snee as new bookstore manager. Deidre, currently of Center Rutland, VT, was born in New Jersey to an artistic family. Deidre majored in fiber arts at Georgia Southern University and the Tyler School of Art at Temple University.
