Bret Williams, President and CEO of Vermont Hard Cider Company, handcrafters of Woodchuck Hard Cider, announces the following new hires based out of Woodchuck Cidery in Middlebury, Vermont. These hires are the latest in an exciting period of growth at The Vermont Hard Cider Company. In the last year more than 30 new employees have been hired, bringing the total number of employees to 89. The company’s operation continues to see steady growth, which not only creates jobs and benefits the local economy, but also strengthens the Vermont brand across the country.
Chad Fay has been hired as a Sales Representative for Maine and New Hampshire. Previously he was at Great State Beverages working in New Hampshire. He resides in Nashua, New Hampshire.
Rachel Zilnicki is our second shift Quality Technician. She is a recent graduate of the University of Tampa where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She is currently living in Williston, Vt.
Ashley Gummelt is the new in-house Graphic Designer. She brings a wide variety of experience to the team in both print and web design, and will work on point of sale, web, and packaging items. Ashley resides in Bristol, Vt.
Nate Formalarie has been hired as Communications Manager handling media and community relations, as well as internal company communications. He was previously a News Producer at WCAX-TV, the CBS affiliate for Vermont. Nate resides in Burlington, Vt.
