On the eve of its 50th Anniversary season, Yellow Barn has filled a new senior-level staff position. This coming September, Maria Basescu will assume the role of Managing Director, joining Executive Director Catherine Stephan and Artistic Director Seth Knopp in positioning Yellow Barn for its next 50 years.
TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, has named Sheryl L. McQuade Regional President for Northern New England, covering Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire. In this role, McQuade will lead TD Bank’s Northern New England retail, small business, commercial and middle-market banking operations and lending services throughout a network of approximately 130 stores and 4,300 employees.

Effective June 2019, the Junior League of Champlain Valley (JLCV) welcomed Wendy Mustapha and Nancy Warner to its Board of Directors. The JLCV Board of Directors is elected by the organization’s 75 members.
Edward Larson of Montpelier has been named interim president of the Central Vermont Chamber of Commerce and will begin work at the Chamber on July 1. The appointment was announced today by Board Chair Joseph L. Choquette III, president of Mark III Public Affairs LLC. Larson will take over for current President and CEO William D.
The Bennington Regional Chamber of Commerce has replaced Dr. David Evans, who was voted as the board of director’s president in January of 2019 at the chamber’s annual membership meeting, with first vice president Brian Maggiotto effective immediately.

Rotarian Josh Dufresne recently accepted the gavel from outgoing club President Jeff Mobus. Dufresne begins his term as the Club President on July 1, 2019. Also, Michelle and Tyler Putnam congratulated Elizabeth Parker of Springfield, who was recently selected as the recipient of this year's Paul Putnam Memorial Agriculture Scholarship by the Springfield Rotary Club.
Laura Newell, the VP of Medical Practices at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH), graduated from the Snelling Center for Government’s Vermont Leadership Institute (VLI) this month. VLI aims to promote engagement with public service by providing the tools and information necessary for individuals to contribute more substantially to their communities.
