Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility, the statewide, nonprofit business association with a mission to leverage the power of business for positive social and environmental impact, has named Chelsea Bardot Lewis as its next executive director, effective June 1. She will succeed Roxanne Vought, who will depart May 30 after 10 years with the organization.

National Life Group has named Francis Radnoti, FSA, MAAA, as Vice President & Head of Life Product Design, Development and Pricing, as of March 24.

Reginald Beliveau, former emergency management director and village manager for the town of Swanton, has be appointed to the Vermont Electric Power Co. Board of Directors, representing Vermont's public power utilities. He succeeds Steve Kaminski, who began his service on the VELCO board in 2013.

Nancy Shuttleworth, area business adviser for Rutland and Bennington counties at the Vermont Small Business Development Center, has been named the organization’s State Star for 2025.

Bar Harbor Bank & Trust has announced the promotion of Vreni Gust to vice president and chief marketing officer. In her new role, she leads the coordination and delivery of all marketing, advertising, social media and public relations activities across the bank’s three-state service area of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.

Rebecca Kapsalis, associate vice president and talent acquisition leader at the University of Vermont Health Network, has been reappointed to a three-year term on the Vermont Workforce Development Board. Kapsalis has served on the 27-member board since March 2022.

Jillian Earle, direct support professional for Project SEARCH at the Community Care Network in Rutland, has been named Vermont’s Direct Support Professional of the Year by ANCOR, the nation’s leading advocacy organization for community-based providers supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Megan Grube, director of curriculum, instruction and technology at Grand Isle Supervisory Union, has been named the next assistant superintendent of the Maple Run Unified Union School District, effective July 1. She will succeed John Muldoon, who has served in the post since July 2021.

Paul Kowalski has been promoted from personal banker to branch relationship manager at the Woodstock office of Bar Harbor Bank & Trust. In this new role, he leads the retail banking team to provide solutions and guidance to help individuals, families and businesses in Woodstock and surrounding communities meet their financial goals.
