Megan Grube, director of curriculum, instruction and technology at Grand Isle Supervisory Union, has been named the next assistant superintendent of the Maple Run Unified Union School District, effective July 1. She will succeed John Muldoon, who has served in the post since July 2021.
Grube brings to her new position a wealth of experience in curriculum development, instructional leadership and educational equity. In her current post, which she has held since 2019, Grube has overseen strategic improvements in curriculum, assessment and professional learning practices. Her leadership helped drive increased student proficiency and growth in English language arts and math.
Grube is a graduate of Skidmore College and holds a Master of Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education. In the coming months, she will work closely with Muldoon, the MRUUSD leadership team and staff to ensure a smooth transition to her new job.
