John Lens, P.E., has received the 2011 Vermont Engineer of the Year award from the Vermont Society of Professional Engineers. Lens, a civil engineer, has been a principal at GeoDesign, Inc., in Windsor, VT, since 1995 and is currently enrolled in a doctoral program at the University of Vermont.

Vermont Attorney General William H. Sorrell announced today that Susanne R. Young has been appointed as an Assistant Attorney General. She will serve as the supervising attorney for the staff that provides legal services to the Department of Mental Health.
