VPT's Programming Manager Elected President of National Organization

Kelly Luoma, programming manager for Vermont Public Television, has been elected president of The Public Television Programmers’ Association (PTPA).

PTPA is the only organization dedicated to the professional development of public television programmers. Members use conferences, webinars and monthly phone calls to share ideas and expertise about scheduling, research and other topics.

PBS, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and national producers frequently seek the input of the group and its members.

Luoma has been with VPT since 1995.
