Cancer Patient Support Foundation appoints new executive director

Sarah Wallace-Brodeur, former senior director of operations at Vermont Family Network, has joined the Cancer Patient Support Foundation as executive director.

Wallace-Brodeur’s background in nonprofit management and fundraising, combined with her deep commitment to serving cancer patients and their families, will help to advance the mission of the organization that recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. She is a graduate of the University of Vermont.

Attorney Carol Pfeiffer accepted into Fellows Institute

The Burlington law firm Dinse has announced that attorney Carol Pfeiffer has been accepted into Class II of the New England Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. The institute was created by ACTEC to develop future leaders in the profession through a series of in-depth educational presentations led by outstanding subject matter experts across the country.

VBSR welcomes Jeremy Gerber as membership and development manager

Jeremy Gerber, former development manager for the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps, has joined Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility as membership and development manager. In his new role, Gerber develops and implements VBSR’s strategic approach to membership recruitment, retention and engagement in addition to fundraising for the organization’s Expanding Our Movement Fund.
