VBSR welcomes Jeremy Gerber as membership and development manager

Jeremy Gerber

Jeremy Gerber, former development manager for the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps, has joined Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility as membership and development manager. In his new role, Gerber develops and implements VBSR’s strategic approach to membership recruitment, retention and engagement in addition to fundraising for the organization’s Expanding Our Movement Fund.

Gerber brings to VBSR a blended background in nonprofit development, strategic fundraising, digital marketing, client relations, brand ambassadorship and member recruitment. In his various mission-driven roles, he built and managed corporate sponsorship programs, cultivated large donor bases and developed digital content across brand portfolios.

“Brands around the globe look to Vermont industry icons to learn how to build successful businesses in a way that is good for their people and good for the planet – and VBSR members lead the way,” said Roxanne Vought, executive director of VBSR. “As we embrace the opportunities this decade holds for our state and the world, Jeremy has the knowledge, skills and expertise to support and strengthen our current members while growing the next generation of values-led business leaders.”
