Howard Center in Burlington has promoted Senior Finance Manager Steven Maneely to chief financial officer at the nonprofit human services organization, effective June 1. He  will assume the responsibilities held by Sandra McGuire, who becomes CEO.

Maneely, who joined Howard Center in 2017, is a graduate of the University of Vermont and is enrolled in the MBA program at Champlain College. He is a member of the finance committee at the Schoolhouse Learning Center and a former member of the finance committee at Pathways Vermont.

Dr. Robert Boyd, owner of Champlain Dental Group, and Dr. Elicia Thompson, dental director at Community Health Centers of Burlington, have been elected to three-year terms on the Delta Dental Plan of Vermont Board of Trustees.

The business and financial services firm Davis & Hodgdon Advisory Group has appointed six new staff members: Krystal Engelbrecht (pictured), supervisor; Jay Smith, staff accountant for convergent accounting; Griffin Smith and Alix Prouty, associate accountants; Rebecca Rimondi, client relations associate; and Koko Vercessi-Clarke, operations specialist.
