Davis & Hodgdon Advisory Group appoints six new staff members

The business and financial services firm Davis & Hodgdon Advisory Group has appointed six new staff members: Krystal Engelbrecht (pictured), supervisor; Jay Smith, staff accountant for convergent accounting; Griffin Smith and Alix Prouty, associate accountants; Rebecca Rimondi, client relations associate; and Koko Vercessi-Clarke, operations specialist.

Engelbrecht brings to D&H more than 16 years of public accounting experience. She is a business administration and accounting graduate of Missouri Southern State University and serves on the board of directors for two non-profit organizations, Route 66 Museum of Phelps County and Ozark Actors Theatre.

Jay Smith has more than nine years' experience as a tax preparer and accountant. He is an accounting graduate of the Minnesota School of Business.

Griffin Smith is an Associate Accountant with a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Colorado Boulder and a certificate in accounting from Champlain College. Most recently Griffin worked as a labor market research analyst for the government.

Rimondi has several years' experience working in the military and education sectors, most recently with the Supportive Services for Veteran Families. She holds degrees in sociology and administration of justice from Arizona State University.

Vercessi-Clarke has prior experience working as a health benefits administrative assistant, tax associate and teaching assistant for marketing and business communication courses while attending the Grossman School of Business at the University of Vermont. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from UVM.

Prouty is a graduate of Castleton University, where he is now working toward a Master of Accountancy. He has interned with Davis & Hodgdon during the last two tax seasons.
