St. Johnsbury Academy Headmaster, Tom Lovett has announced that Ron Steen has been elected as a new member of the St. Johnsbury Academy Board of Trustees. The election took place during a January meeting of the Board. In addition to the appointment of a new Trustee, the meeting included the naming of Trustee John Garey as Trustee Emeritus. Garey has served as an Academy Trustee since 1981. Steen is the Managing Associate of RW Steen Associates, a human resource consulting group based in St. Johnsbury, serving the manufacturing, banking, and healthcare industries since 1995.

Employment and Labor attorney Peter B. Robb, who practices from DRM’s Brattleboro Office, will serve as deputy managing partner and chief operating officer. Robb is nationally known for his representation of management in employment and labor law, and has been the chair of the Employment and Labor Practice Group at the firm for many years. When he joined DRM in 1995, he had accumulated significant credentials in the labor and employment field as an attorney with Proskauer Rose in Washington, D.C.
