Champlain College’s Staff and Faculty Accomplishments Celebrated

Champlain College celebrated its long-time employees, announced faculty promotions and awarded two top awards to faculty and staff on May 15 at a year-end dinner held at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center.

Champlain College President David F. Finney presented the following awards:

Edward Phelps Lyman Professorship Award, which includes a $5,000 teaching stipend, to Associate Professor Susyn Dees, program director of the Radiology program.

Vermont Association for Justice names Board Secretary

Emily Joselson, a partner at Langrock Sperry & Wool, LLP, has been named by the board of the Vermont Association for Justice (VTAJ) as secretary. VTAJ is a 30- year-old association of trial attorneys dedicated to protecting the legal rights of Vermont citizens injured by the misconduct or negligence of others. Joselson's practice for the last 25 years has had a similar focus on advocacy for those injured by the wrongful conduct of others. Nearly 400 trial lawyers from Vermont are members of VTAJ.
