Champlain College celebrated its long-time employees, announced faculty promotions and awarded two top awards to faculty and staff on May 15 at a year-end dinner held at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center.
Champlain College President David F. Finney presented the following awards:
Edward Phelps Lyman Professorship Award, which includes a $5,000 teaching stipend, to Associate Professor Susyn Dees, program director of the Radiology program.
Elizabeth Durick Staff Service Award, which includes a $5,000 stipend, to Thomas Bonnette, director of the physical plant at Champlain College.
President Finney also announced the following faculty promotions at Champlain College:
Professor: Robin Abramson and David Kite
Associate Professor: Charles Amey, Ann DeMarle, Susyn Dees and James Hoag.
Staff Awards were presented to:
