Propeller welcomes marketing specialist

Eric Adamowski has joined Propeller’s team as Project Manager and Online Marketing Specialist. He is a graduate of Champlain College’s Business Program and has most recently served as Founder of Armitage Digital, a strategic marketing and consulting company catering to small businesses in the Syracuse, NY region. Adamowski brings a unique blend of customer service, online marketing, and entrepreneurial business knowledge to the position.

Maple Leaf Farm promotes from within

Bill Young, Executive Director of Maple Leaf Farm is pleased to announce the promotion of Stacey Dutil to Assessment Counselor. Stacey graduated from Champlain College in May with a B.S. in social work and is now in a master’s program at Seton Hall University working towards a dual degree of M.A. and Ed.S. in counseling. Stacey also received in May her Apprenticed Substance Abuse Certification.

HowardCenter Developmental Service employees receives award

The Women's Race Rape Crisis Center (WRCC) recently presented their annual Ally Award to HowardCenter Developmental Services. The award honors an individual or organization involved in preventing domestic and sexual violence. For the past year, HowardCenter employees Leah MacCarthy and Kay Bozich-Owens have been working with the WRCC to develop a program to support individuals with a developmental disability who experience sexual violence.

Kinney Pike Insurance under new ownership

Kinney Pike Insurance, Inc. is proud to announce that effective December 31, 2009 Senior Officers Peter Werner, Justin Barwood and Doug Corman successfully purchased the agency from Kevin Tibbits, who has served as President and owner since September, 2000.
