Eric Adamowski has joined Propeller’s team as Project Manager and Online Marketing Specialist. He is a graduate of Champlain College’s Business Program and has most recently served as Founder of Armitage Digital, a strategic marketing and consulting company catering to small businesses in the Syracuse, NY region. Adamowski brings a unique blend of customer service, online marketing, and entrepreneurial business knowledge to the position.
Bill Young, Executive Director of Maple Leaf Farm is pleased to announce the promotion of Stacey Dutil to Assessment Counselor. Stacey graduated from Champlain College in May with a B.S. in social work and is now in a master’s program at Seton Hall University working towards a dual degree of M.A. and Ed.S. in counseling. Stacey also received in May her Apprenticed Substance Abuse Certification.
The Women's Race Rape Crisis Center (WRCC) recently presented their annual Ally Award to HowardCenter Developmental Services. The award honors an individual or organization involved in preventing domestic and sexual violence. For the past year, HowardCenter employees Leah MacCarthy and Kay Bozich-Owens have been working with the WRCC to develop a program to support individuals with a developmental disability who experience sexual violence.

Karen Lynch recently joined USDA Rural Development’s (RD) Montpelier, VT Area Office team as the new Loan Specialist working primarily with the USDA Rural Development’s Community Facilities Loan and Grant programs and Rural Business Enterprise and Opportunity Grants, serving Addison, Chittenden, Grand Isle, Franklin, Lamoille, Orange, and Washington counties.
A Montpelier resident with experience in international finance has been hired to lead the state’s efforts in promoting trade between Vermont firms and other countries.
Ali Sarafzade was named Director of the Vermont Global Trade Partnership (VGTP), the public-private partnership that serves as the state’s center for international business assistance, on Monday.
