e-Vermont Names Helen Jordan as Director

Helen Labun Jordan has been selected as Program Director of e-Vermont, the Community Broadband Project. This new two-year initiative will help rural Vermont towns take full advantage of the Internet to address a wide variety of local needs including economic development, school innovation, job creation, downtown marketing, community engagement, and e-commerce. Today’s announcement came from Paul Costello, Executive Director of the Vermont Council on Rural Development (VCRD) and leader of the e-Vermont Partnership.

John F. McSoley, Peter L. McCoy, and Tom Stretton announced that Rebecca Campbell joined McSoley McCoy & Co. as a Senior Accountant. She graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting

Jim Douglas to be inducted into Academy of Distinguished Canadians and Americans

The Honorable Jim Douglas, Governor of Vermont, will be inducted into Academy of Distinguished Canadians and Americans during the 2010 Maple Leaf Foundation Ball on November 6, 2010, at the Boston Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center. Started by Bobby Orr and Ken Rossano over 26 years ago, and attended by government and industry leaders from both sides of the border, the Maple Leaf Ball has become the premier American–Canadian social event of the year in New England.
