Thomas S. Leavitt, Executive Vice President of Merchants Bank, announced the promotion of Erin Pond to Branch President of the Kennedy Drive branch of Merchants Bank. Ms. Pond will be leading all activities for one of the bank’s highest profile locations in its statewide network of 34 branch offices.

The New England Division of the American Cancer Society, with funding

from AstraZeneca, and in cooperation with Fletcher Allen Health Care,

welcomes Jessica Denton as the patient navigator for Fletcher Allen

Health Care. As an American Cancer Society patient navigator, Denton

will connect patients and caregivers with the most appropriate programs

and services to help assist individuals in negotiating the health care system.

Denton received her Master of Social Work in May of 2009 from the

Secretary of State-elect Jim Condos will attend an

orientation for newly elected chief state election officials in Austin,

Texas, on December 10-12 – co-hosted by the National Association of

Secretaries of States and the Pew Center on the States.

This will be a new member orientation with a focus on elections. Some of the

topics to be discussed are: Military and Overseas Voting, Voter

Registration, Election Performance, and Redistricting.
