Vermont Law School welcomes Margaret Martin Barry

Margaret Martin Barry has been appointed as acting associate dean for Clinical and Experiential Programs and visiting professor of law for the 2011-2012 academic year at Vermont Law School. Barry, who is currently a professor at the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law, will join VLS on July 1.

“Given the depth of her experience in clinical legal education, as well as her scholarship and service in experiential programs, we know she will bring vision and leadership to our programs as VLS,” said Professor Gil Kujovich, vice dean for academic affairs.

Timothy Harvey joins Bristol Financial Services

After growing up in Vermont, Tim returned to the Green Mountain state last fall from the Boston area where, as an equity analyst, he helped manage mutual funds and institutional accounts for John Hancock and Lee Munder Capital Group. Student Takes Top Prize in Statewide Poster Contest

Victoria Rheaume, from Fair Haven Union High School, and a student in Stafford Technical Center's Hospitality & Entrepreneurship Program, recently took first place honors for her hand drawn poster in the 1st Annual Statewide Entrepreneurship Education/Literacy Poster Contest-Building Entrepreneurship Education in our schools. Students from many schools/towns around Vermont submitted their original creative drawings/artwork to highlight how and why developing entrepreneurship skills will them now and in the future.
