Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Professor Receives Grant
Karen Glass, Ph.D., an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Colchester Campus of Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS-Vermont), has received a two-year grant from the American Heart Association in the amount of $132,000. She will be researching new approaches for reducing the risks of heart attack in individuals suffering from heart disease.

Addison County Home Health and Hospice Elects New Board Members
Addison County Home Health and Hospice Executive Director Larry Goetschius welcomes four new members to its Board of Directors for three-year terms, which began in January 2011. New members include: Pat Morrow of Cornwall; Dr. William Fifield of Middlebury; Maureen McLaughlin, CPA of Vergennes; and William Miller Esq. of Middlebury. The Board of Directors elected Howie McCausland of Bristol as President, Meghan Williamson of New Haven Board as Vice President and Maureen McLaughlin of Vergennes as Treasurer.
