Hospice names new manager

Central Vermont Home Health and Hospice has appointed Michelle Walker, RN, MS as the Agency’s Hospice and Palliative Care Manager.

Walker grew up in Montpelier and has been a Registered Nurse for 37 years. During that time she has gained a wide variety of experience through her employment as an Intensive Care Unit nurse, a school nurse, professor of nursing at Norwich University, and as a nursing supervisor at both CVMC and CVHHH.

AJ Rossman has recently joined Microstrain as VP of Renewable Energy, Smart Grid and Environmental Monitoring. He brings 20 years of field based monitoring experience to the team and 15 years of experience in renewable energy. He received a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering and then completed Masters Degrees in Environmental Science and Geology.

Champlain Valley Area Health Education Center (AHEC) welcomes new Health Careers Facilitator

Jane Nesbitt has been named as the Health Careers Facilitator of the Champlain Valley Area Health Education Center (AHEC) in St. Albans. Prior to joining Champlain Valley AHEC, Nesbitt served in leadership and management roles, such as Director of Operations, Health Center Administrator/Manager and Senior Program Associate in various Vermont health care, education and human services non-profits. These include the Lund Family Center, Trinity College, WestEd, and PACE Vermont.
