Tom Borys, chief financial officer at OneCare Vermont, will assume the additional duties of interim CEO of the organization. He will replace CEO Abe Berman, who will be stepping down in mid-December to join TapestryHealth.

Borys has been a leader within the OneCare finance department since 2017. Before joining OneCare, he spent 12 years serving in various financial capacities at the Howard Center. He is a graduate of the University of Vermont and holds an MBA from Champlain College.

Jennifer Chambers, director of case management and social services at Springfield Hospital, was recently appointed by Gov. Scott to a three-year term on the Clinical Utilization Review Board within the Department of Vermont Health Access.

The 10-member board was established in 2010 to examine existing medical services, emerging technologies and relevant evidence-based clinical practice guidelines within the DVHA.

Peggy Piette, nurse practitioner in gastroenterology at Littleton Regional Healthcare, has been elected chair of the board of directors at the Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains. She has been a member of the council's board since 2019, most recently as secretary.

Keith Jennings, former lead hydrologist at Lynker, a water science and engineering company based in Boulder, Colorado, has been named director of research at the University of Vermont's Water Resources Institute.
