MMIC announces distinguished addition to board of directors

MMIC (Mobile Medical International Corporation) is pleased to announce the addition of R. James “Jim” Nicholson, former Secretary of Veterans Affairs, to their Board of Directors. Mr. Nicholson joined the board in the fourth quarter of 2011. Champlain Community Services names assistant director

Champlain Community Services, Inc. (CCS) in Colchester announces the promotion of Elizabeth Mead Sightler to Assistant Director. Her responsibilities include intake coordination, supervision of service coordination, oversight of the CCS crisis bed/respite house, and coordinating all agency trainings.

Sightler has worked at CCS for seven years and has worked in developmental services for nearly 20 years.

North Country Orthopaedics welcomes new physician assistant

North Country Orthopaedics welcomes the latest addition to their team, physician assistant Norm Dupuis PA-C, MHP. He brings with him extensive experience from working as a paramedic in Boston, working in an orthopaedic practice, to working as a physician assistant in the warzones of Iraq and Afghanistan.

Norm joins full-time orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Glen Neale, at the practice which is located on the campus of North Country Hospital.

ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center hires new group program coordinator focusing on ECHO science camps

ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center, at the Leahy Center for Lake Champlain, is pleased to announce Nina Ridhibhinyo (rid-a-bin-yo), as the Group Programs Coordinator. She joins the ECHO Team education team to oversee the launching of summer camps, overnights and teen environmental summits at ECHO.

Mount Family Group given top honors by franchisor

The Mount Family Group was honored at the annual meeting of its franchisor, Select Staffing, in Palm Desert California. The meeting was attended by over 400 employees of Select and its affiliates, Westaff and Remedy Intelligent Staffing. Mount Family Group had 14 people to represent the Burlington based company.

The highest honor given to a franchisee in the company is Franchise Business of the Year, which was awarded to Mount Family Group. All 14 members of the company took part in receiving the award.
