The New England Secondary School Consortium announced recipients of their first annual NESSC Champions awards recognizing seven leaders from across New England.

Receiving regional awards were:

• Tim Donovan, chancellor of the Vermont State College System; and

• Lou DiPalma, state senator from Rhode Island.
