James Writer named head groundskeeper for Lake Monsters
James Writer has been named Head Groundskeeper at historic Centennial Field for the Vermont Lake Monsters, the New York-Penn League affiliate of the Oakland Athletics announced today. In addition, Director of Fan Development/Promotions Lindsay Simmons and Box Office Manager Adam Matth have been promoted from seasonal to full-time employees of the Lake Monsters.
Manon O’Connor named Vermont Cancer Center senior director of development
The University of Vermont Foundation and Fletcher Allen Health Care are pleased to announce the appointment of Manon O’Connor as senior director of development for the Vermont Cancer Center, effective March 1, 2013.
In her new role, O’Connor will work closely with Vermont Cancer Center co-directors Claire Verschraegen, M.D., and Gary Stein, Ph.D., as well as the VCC membership community, which includes faculty engaged in education, research, patient care and outreach services.

Mark Hall reappointed as hearing panel member
PF+C Director, Mark Hall has been reappointed as a hearing panel member for the Vermont Supreme Court Professional Responsibility Board for his third term. The Professional Responsibility Program is a regulation system for the legal profession which helps resolve complaints against attorneys, investigates and disciplines attorney misconduct, and assists attorneys and the public by providing education, advice, referrals, and other information designed to maintain and enhance the standards of professional responsibility.
