Hannah Swayze-Quinn, MD, a native of Tunbridge, Vermont, is joining the Central Vermont Medical Center hospitalist team after recently completing her residency in Internal Medicine at Baystate Medical Center/Tufts University of Medicine in Springfield, MA.

Dr. Quinn received her undergraduate degree, a B.A. in Molecular and Microbiology, at Hampshire College, Amherst, MA, and received a Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical degree at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC.

Kevin Jermy has joined C2 as Project Analyst. Prior to joining C2 Kevin was working at CISCO Systems European headquarters in London, England as a Finance Analyst. Before then Kevin was a Commissions Analyst in Auckland, New Zealand. His most recent move was to Vermont where he joined Vertek in Colchester as a Data Analyst for two and a half years. Kevin studied Business IT while going to school in England.

Lyndon State College and the Incubator without Walls (iWOW) program helped seventeen middle school students develop their inner entrepreneur during an interactive summer day camp. The students spent a week on the Lyndon campus in July acquiring hands-on experience in the fundamentals of starting a business, entrepreneurship, and financial and social responsibility. The camp balanced schooling with outdoor, physical activities offered by the Lyndon Adventure Program.

Bread Loaf Corporation, a Vermont firm of architects, planners, and builders is pleased to announce that Sean Paquette has been promoted to Project Manager. Sean began working at Bread Loaf Corporation as an Assistant Project Manager on the Hypertherm Heater Road project in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Sean has since managed various projects including the Kirk Alumni Center at Middlebury College, Lobby Renovations at the Courtyard by Marriot in Middlebury, Vermont and Lobby Renovations at Hampton Inn hotels located in Rutland and White River Junction, Vermont.

Not long after Professor Raul Hilberg was named chair of the Department of Political Science in 1972, he began hiring promising scholars in an effort to make the department one of the best in the nation. Among them was a retired U.S. Army Brigadier General who was finishing his dissertation at Princeton after having completed two tours in Vietnam.
