The grand reopening of The New England Maple Museum takes place
The ribbon is cut at the grand reopening of The New England Maple Museum in Pittsford. The Chamber Ribbon Cutting Celebration was held to recognize new owners Bill and Mary Blanchard and the remodeling they have done to this important area attraction. The New England Maple Museum is located at 4578 US Route 7, just north of the Village of Pittsford and offers a tour of the history of maple production and how maple products are produced.

Ameriprise Advisor combines client appreciation with community service
On October 5, 2013, Denise Palmer, an Ameriprise Financial advisor, hosted a client appreciation event with a unique twist, offering clients the opportunity to work in various community service projects throughout Central Vermont. After dividing into groups that paired personal interests with the needs of the community, clients and staff together completed volunteer activities for three different non-profits: Vermont Historical Society, Central Vermont Humane Society, and Cross Vermont Trail Association (CVTA). Michael L. Seaver, Vermont President, People’s United Bank, Burlington, Vt., was named a trustee of Saint Michael's College this fall. He attended his first meeting of a three-year term on the 31-member board Oct. 3-5, on the campus of the liberal arts residential Catholic college.
Sugarbush Ski & Ride School introduces new program staff and expands adult programs
The Sugarbush Ski & Ride School announces the hiring of two new coaches, as well as the expansion of their Adult Programs offerings.
Jill Wilkinson has been appointed to the position of Seasonal and Specialty Programs Manager. Wilkinson will oversee Sugarbush Resort’s seasonal ski and snowboard learning programs, including the Blazer programs for kids.

Cole Engineering and Construction provides project management for the new library in Manchester
Cole Engineering and Construction, based in Manchester, VT, is currently overseeing the day-to-day construction activities at the Main Street site of the new community library. Owner Chris Cole was brought in early on the project to provide oversight and act as owner representative during the program and design phase of the project.
