Dr. James joins Northwestern Walk-In Clinic

Northwestern Medical Center is pleased to announce that Dr. Richard James has joined NMC as the Medical Director of Northwestern Occupational Health and the Northwestern Walk-In Clinic.

Dr. James sees patients several days per week at the Northwestern Walk-In Clinic in Georgia. Beginning this May, he will also see patients one day per week at Northwestern Orthopaedics in Doctor’s Office Commons on the NMC campus.

After receiving his B.A. in Political Science from Saint Michael’s College, Tim went on to earn his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law and was admitted to the Connecticut State Bar in 2012. Tim utilized his education and gained valuable experience as a Legal Clerk for Franchise World Headquarters, LLC in Milford, CT, after previously working as an intern at the Connecticut State Judiciary Committee in Hartford, CT.

Darren Keniston hired as mortgage loan analyst

Executive Director Sarah Carpenter announced Darren Keniston of Milton, VT has joined Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) as Mortgage Loan Analyst.

Darren comes to VHFA from One Main Financial and CitiMortgage, where he held the roles of Loss Mitigation Specialist 2 and Recovery Unit Senior Supervisor. Darren previously worked for VHFA as a Loan Servicing Specialist from 1997 to 2000.

Well known Nordic skier competes in World Cup

When we think of Nordic skiing in our area, Craftsbury, Jay Peak Nordic Center, the Memphremagog Ski Touring trails, and even woods or fields near where we live may come to mind.

Dr. Peter Harris, long time and well known internist and pediatrician, has surpassed all of those locations with a winter of Nordic skiing accomplishments. And, when conditions are right he even skis to work at North Country Hospital’s Primary Care.

Bread Loaf Corporation welcomes architectural designer Thomas Hajosch

Bread Loaf Corporation, a Vermont firm of architects, planners, and builders is pleased to announce Thomas Hajosch has joined our Architectural Department as an Architectural Designer. Thomas holds a Master of Architecture Degree, and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies Degree from Norwich University.

In Thomas’ new position at Bread Loaf Corporation he is working on construction documents for various projects that are planning to begin construction this year.
