Lisa Wilson elected vice president of Green Mountain Payroll Association

PayData Payroll and HR Solutions has announced that Lisa Wilson, has been elected vice president of the Green Mountain Payroll Association. Green Mountain Payroll Association (GMPA) is a state wide organization serving payroll professionals. Lisa Wilson will soon be celebrating 19-years with PayData. Wilson assumed this position January 1st, 2015. PayData Payroll and HR Solutions, with offices in Colchester, has been providing payroll, time clock and HR management services to employers throughout northern New England since 1987.

Karyn Romanoski-Newick, MSN, FNP joins ExpressCare

Karyn Romanoski-Newick, MSN, FNP recently joined the University of Vermont Health Network-Central Vermont Medical Center’s ExpressCare facility on the Barre-Montpelier Road. She will also be working with podiatrist Kevin McNamara, DPM in his office on the UVM Health Network-CVMC campus in building B.

She graduated in June 2014 from the Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky where she earned her Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree. Karyn is a member of The Frontier Nursing University Honor Society and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

David Chevalier joins TD Bank as vice president in commercial banking in Burlington

TD Bank has named David A. Chevalier as Vice President in Commercial Banking in Burlington, Vt. He is responsible for analyzing, originating and monitoring loans in excess of $1 million, serving businesses throughout the Burlington region.

Chevalier has seven years of experience in banking and lending. Prior to joining TD Bank he served as a regional sales manager at Wells Fargo in Beverly Hills.

Kristine Stell takes reins as president of Vermont Realtors

Kristine Stell, managing broker of RE/MAX Destinations in St. Albans, will serve as 2015 President of Vermont Realtors.

Kristine has been an active member of the Realtor organization since 2003. In 2008, she became the managing broker of RE/MAX Destinations in St. Albans.

In 2014, Kristine served as President of the Northwestern Vermont Board of Realtors® (NVBR), the largest local Board of Realtors® in Vermont. She also served as Vice-President of Vermont Realtors in 2014.

Community Health Centers of Burlington receives $10,000 donation from New England Federal Credit Union

The Community Health Centers of Burlington (CHCB) has received a $10,000 donation from New England Federal Credit Union (NEFCU).

In addition to the donation, NEFCU hosted a “Sock Drop” collection to benefit CHCB’s homeless patients during the winter months. The “Sock Drop”, now completing its third year, yielded over 400 pairs of new socks donated by NEFCU members.

Warm socks are especially important for CHCB’s homeless patient population, when the lack of proper winter attire could have severe consequences.
