Lashway named first vice president, district manager of NY & VT for Berkshire Bank

Berkshire Bank has announced that Heather Lashway has been promoted to the new role of First Vice President, retail banking district manager, New York and Vermont. In this new position, Lashway will lead Berkshire's New York and Vermont branches and regional managers along with her continued leadership of Berkshire Banc Investment Services team.

Nicole Cattabriga has been honored as the winner of the 2014 Barwood Sales Achievement Award for personal lines insurance. New Grass Roots opens in Rutland

The ribbon is cut at the Rutland Region Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting at NewGrassRoots, located in the City Center, Opera House, 67 Merchants Row, Downtown Rutland.

NewGrassRoots is a civic engagement web application that delivers voice messages from users to their state legislators about Vermont’s important issues. The free service confirms whether or not the messages are listened to and generates anonymous statistics about constituent action.

Vermont Mechanical, Inc hires service department manager

Vermont Mechanical, Inc has hired Thomas Ellis as the service department manager. Ellis brings over 13 years of health care related mechanical experience including 7 years as supervisor of plant engineering at the University of VT Medical Center. He has been involved in the Mechanical Trade field industry for a total of 34 years. Vermont Mechanical, Inc. also hired Michael McDonald as Technical Service Manager. Mc Donald started his career in NJ as an industrial plumber and boiler technician.

Goddard College appoints new trustees

Goddard College has announced the election of four new members to its board of trustees: Danielle Boutet, Mark Jones, Joseph Orange, and James Ross.

“We are pleased to announce that our new at-large members were selected out of forty-five nominated candidates, and will be joining the board at its March meeting,” said Jill Mattuck Tarule, Chair of the Trusteeship Committee. “These four individuals will bring diverse skills, experiences, and socio-cultural perspectives, helping to enhance the board and our work,” she said.
