Burlington Labs CEO and Co-Founder Michael Casarico was presented with one of Vermont’s top honors for work supporting addiction recovery. Casarico accepted the 2015 Jack Barry Award at a ceremony at the annual Recovery Day at the Vermont Statehouse.

Eva McKend has joined the WCAX News Team after spending two years as a reporter at the Time Warner Cable News station in the Hudson Valley. During her time in the Greater New York City region, Eva covered many stories at the 24-hour cable news channel that received national and international attention. Before, Time Warner Cable News, she spent a summer as a Washington-based correspondent for Springfield, Missouri, CBS affiliate KOLR/KOZL.
