Mount Family Group, Ltd hires Sherilyn Daudelin as personnel supervisor

Mount Family Group, Ltd., the Williston-based franchisee of Westaff Workforce Solutions and Remedy Intelligent Staffing, has hired Sherilyn Daudelin as a Personnel Supervisor. Daudelin joined the company in January and is working at the St. Albans Westaff office located at 30 Mapleville Depot across the street from the Collins Perley Sports & Fitness Center. In her position, Daudelin is responsible for recruiting and client relations in Franklin County Vermont, which ranges from Milton to Richford.

Keith Chamberlin returning to Flek

After a 5-year hiatus, Keith Chamberlin has rejoined the team of creative professionals at Vermont’s Flek, Inc., a St. Johnsbury-based design and marketing firm. He had served as director of Communications and Marketing at Lyndon State College since 2010.

“I’m happy to be able to offer direct creative services on a daily basis again. And I look forward to adding some new skills I’ve picked up to Flek’s growing toolkit—more writing, new media, and media strategy.”

Mike Mandracchia wins national Retirement Plan Advisor recognition

The Richards Group has announced that Mike Mandracchia has recently been recognized by the Financial Times as one of the top Retirement Plan Advisors in the country. The Financial Times hosted the “FT 401 Retirement Plan Advisors” in New York City recently to acknowledge this group based on their experience, expertise and credentials, as well as metrics including growth, assets under management and plan participation rates. “There were only 4 advisors chosen from Northern New England, so Mike is in select company”, said Ben Taggard, VP of Wealth Management.

James C White II, PhD, named Southern Vermont College provost

Southern Vermont College (SVC) has announced the appointment of James C. White II, Ph.D., as the College’s new Provost, starting July 1. The Provost will provide leadership in the areas of curriculum, academic personnel and faculty affairs, as well as strategic planning and new programs. President David Evans made the announcement following a Provost search which yielded many strong candidates.

Mount Family Group, Ltd., the Williston-based franchisee of Westaff Workforce Solutions and Remedy Intelligent Staffing, has hired Amber Sherman as a Personnel Supervisor. Sherman joined the company in April and is working at the Westaff office in Barre, VT. In her position, Sherman is responsible for all recruiting and client relations in the Central Vermont market, which ranges from Morrisville to Bethel. Amber brings years of customer service and employment experience with her.
