The Vermont Coalition of Clinics for the Uninsured (VCCU) would like to announce that Laura Hale of Burlington, Vermont has been selected as their new Executive Director. Laura comes with a wealth of experience in the nonprofit world and has worked with community groups of all sizes.

Mount Family Group, Ltd., the Williston-based franchisee of Westaff Workforce Solutions and Remedy Intelligent Staffing, has hired Sherilyn Daudelin as a Personnel Supervisor. Daudelin joined the company in January and is working at the St. Albans Westaff office located at 30 Mapleville Depot across the street from the Collins Perley Sports & Fitness Center. In her position, Daudelin is responsible for recruiting and client relations in Franklin County Vermont, which ranges from Milton to Richford.

After a 5-year hiatus, Keith Chamberlin has rejoined the team of creative professionals at Vermont’s Flek, Inc., a St. Johnsbury-based design and marketing firm. He had served as director of Communications and Marketing at Lyndon State College since 2010.

“I’m happy to be able to offer direct creative services on a daily basis again. And I look forward to adding some new skills I’ve picked up to Flek’s growing toolkit—more writing, new media, and media strategy.”

The Richards Group has announced that Mike Mandracchia has recently been recognized by the Financial Times as one of the top Retirement Plan Advisors in the country. The Vermont Arts Council has hired Burlington resident Erika Lowe for the position of arts education programs manager. Lowe brings to the job a broad and deep background in education and the arts as well as a passion for making the arts a central part of a child’s education.

Southern Vermont College (SVC) has announced the appointment of James C. White II, Ph.D., as the College’s new Provost, starting July 1. The Provost will provide leadership in the areas of curriculum, academic personnel and faculty affairs, as well as strategic planning and new programs. President David Evans made the announcement following a Provost search which yielded many strong candidates.
