Greg joins Berkshire Bank from the FDIC where he worked for 24 years, most recently as a Senior Risk Examiner for the Division of Risk Management Supervision. Through this position, he has gained expert understanding of capital markets, including investments, derivatives, securitizations, market risk, liquidity/funds management and mortgage banking.
Vermont Chamber hires Ronda Berns as new VP of Tourism
For more than thirty years, Ronda has worked in sales management in the hospitality industry, most recently as the National Sales Manager at Stowe Mountain Lodge and as the Director of Sales at Topnotch Resort. Ronda previously held the Executive Director position for the Vermont Convention Bureau where she was instrumental in rebuilding this statewide organization through collaboration and partnerships.

A local fire chief, an Assistant State Fire Marshall, an emergency response team, and a non-profit have been recognized for their contributions to emergency preparedness and response in Vermont. The awards were presented during the Vermont Emergency Preparedness Conference this past weekend.

Howard Center friends and staff gathered November 2 at the Pizzagalli Center at the Shelburne Museum to present the organization’s first “Help is Here” award to Shelburne resident Lisa Steele. The award honors an individual whose contribution personifies the agency’s mission and demonstrates a passion for helping the individuals and families served by Howard Center.
