Berkshire Bank announces EVP Chief Risk Officer & EVP Specialty Lending

Berkshire Bank, America's Most Exciting Bank, is excited to announce that Gregory Lindenmuth has joined Berkshire as the EVP Chief Risk Officer reporting to the bank's president, Richard Marotta. Greg joins Berkshire Bank from the FDIC where he worked for 24 years, most recently as a Senior Risk Examiner for the Division of Risk Management Supervision. Through this position, he has gained expert understanding of capital markets, including investments, derivatives, securitizations, market risk, liquidity/funds management and mortgage banking.

Vermont Chamber hires Ronda Berns as new VP of Tourism

For more than thirty years, Ronda has worked in sales management in the hospitality industry, most recently as the National Sales Manager at Stowe Mountain Lodge and as the Director of Sales at Topnotch Resort. Ronda previously held the Executive Director position for the Vermont Convention Bureau where she was instrumental in rebuilding this statewide organization through collaboration and partnerships.

Howard Center honors Lisa Steele with Help is Here Award

Howard Center friends and staff gathered November 2 at the Pizzagalli Center at the Shelburne Museum to present the organization’s first “Help is Here” award to Shelburne resident Lisa Steele. The award honors an individual whose contribution personifies the agency’s mission and demonstrates a passion for helping the individuals and families served by Howard Center. In accepting the award, Steele said, “I am deeply touched and grateful for this recognition. For 150 years, Howard Center and its staff have played a vital role in our community.
