New Chair confirmed for VT ESGR

We are pleased to announce that Jean O’Sullivan, of Burlington, has been confirmed by Headquarters, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (DoD) as the new State Chair for Vermont Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. In that role, Jean will provide leadership and vision for the Vermont “committee”, comprised primarily of volunteers and a small full-time support staff.

VSECU’s Rob Miller joins Federal Reserve Bank of Boston CDIAC

VSECU CEO Rob Miller was recently appointed to the First District’s Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council (CDIAC). The council, which includes members from all New England states meets twice annually to advise the Bank on the economy, lending conditions, and other issues. “This is a unique opportunity to provide Boston Fed President, Eric Rosengren, with feedback and insights on economic conditions affecting Vermonters and Vermont communities,” Miller stated.

NCSS announces Stacey Remillard as Director of Human Resources

Stacey Remillard became the Human Resources Director for Northwestern Counseling & Support Services (NCSS), replacing long-time director Tony Treanor. It is fitting, and even heartwarming, that she replaces Tony, as she sat on the committee that hired him as the HR Director in 2001. Remillard started her NCSS career with a short stint as medical transcriptionist and executive secretary, filling a temporary coverage need in 1998, before assuming the role of human resources coordinator. It was during this time that she immersed herself in the discipline of HR and found her niche.

Murphy Sullivan Kronk announces the addition of Seff to their team

Murphy Sullivan Kronk is pleased to announce that Daniel A Seff has joined the firm as an of-counsel member. Vermont Tech engineering students recognized by the college and at a Vermont Society of Professional Engineers Event

Two exceptional Vermont Technical College engineering students were honored by the college and recognized at a Vermont Society of Professional Engineers event on February 24 at the DoubleTree Hotel in South Burlington. This event is part of E-Week, a national celebration of Engineering professionals and their work. Niels Huisman and Sarah Ferland were chosen as Vermont Tech’s Student Engineer of the year and Student Engineering Technician of the year, respectively.
