Rebecca (Becky) McClung, RN, MSN, has been appointed Chief Quality Officer at Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice. Becky assumed the role in April. Connie Colman, RN, MEd., who formerly held this position, retired after over 35 years of service to the agency. Award-winning writer Paterson to serve as honorary chair of spring fundraiser
CVHHH is honored to welcome award-winning writer and Montpelier resident Katherine Paterson as chair of our annual spring fundraiser. Many of you may recognize Katherine from her much-beloved books, including Bridge to Terabithia and The Great Gilly Hopkins. Many may also know Katherine from her 31 years as a resident of Barre and Montpelier. Katherine first encountered CVHHH in the early 1990s when Ginny Fry, our Bereavement Coordinator at the time, asked Katherine to pen an introduction to a book she was writing.
National quality expert named CVMC’s President and COO
Barre native and national quality expert Anna T Noonan, BSN, MS, RN, has been appointed president and chief operating officer for The University of Vermont Health Network – Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC). Following a rigorous national search, she emerged as the successful candidate and will start in the role July 24. Since 2004, Noonan has served as vice president of the Jeffords Institute for Quality and Operational Effectiveness at The University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC) in Burlington.
