Middlebury – Eastview elects new officers at annual meeting
EastView at Middlebury, the senior living community, held its annual board meeting on June 16th. A large group of residents, staff, and friends enjoyed a breakfast reception and presentations from the Board of Directors, the Management Team, and the Resident Council in EastView’s Terrace Dining Room. The Board elected the following officers for the upcoming year.
Gifford welcomes new Director of Independent Living
Gifford Retirement Community has named Diane Way as the director of the Morgan Orchards Independent Living program. The new 49-apartment independent living facility is scheduled to open on August 15th. It is the newest addition to a senior living community in Randolph Center that includes the Menig Nursing Home and a planned assisted living section. Since 2013 Way has been the Community Relations Manager at Armistead Senior Care in South Burlington.
Mackenzie joins Inntopia as SVP Employee and Partner Engagement
Pam Mackenzie joins the Inntopia Management team as Senior Vice President, Employee and Partner Engagement. Her role includes employee recruitment and retention across the entire organization, working directly with employees and their managers to evaluate skill sets, their “living culture,” and creating a learning culture. Pam is an established leader with a strong track record developing and implementing strategic direction for public and private sector organizations.

McClure Foundation board announces leadership transition
The board of the J Warren & Lois McClure Foundation, a supporting organization of the Vermont Community Foundation, announced that it has elected Lois McClure as president emerita, Barbara Benedict as president, and Rebecca Henry as vice president. The transition brings together three generations of the McClure family to lead the foundation and its work to make career and college education accessible to all Vermonters.
