The Vermont International Film Festival is very pleased to announce the first VTIFF Community Champion Award. The first recipient of the award is Mariah Riggs, Director of Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center in Burlington. The Award ceremony will take place at a private reception in the home of VTIFF Board member Kevin Meehan in South Burlington. As part of VTIFF’s mission to enrich the community and bring the world to Vermont through film, we wish to salute and thank those who help and support the organization to fulfill its cultural mission.

Bluehouse Group, a digital marketing and web design firm, has hired Michelle Massa as the company’s marketing director. Michelle brings nearly 20 years of marketing and business development experience in local and global markets. She will manage marketing operations within Bluehouse Group and provide expanded online marketing services to help clients reach their marketing goals.

C2 (Competitive Computing), a Colchester-based technology consulting firm, announced that Jennifer Graham has graduated from 2017 Leadership Champlain program. Leadership Champlain is a community leadership development program run by the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce. Graham is Marketing Communications Manager at C2. Jennifer is a graduate of Champlain College and a resident of Essex.

Boyne Resorts, the Michigan-based ski and summer resort group, has announced a partnership with Inntopia that will enable them to offer their many lodging and activity options in a single, easy-to-use interface on their resorts’ websites. Boyne has been using Inntopia’s Marketing Cloud since 2008, and began installing the Inntopia Commerce platform last fall to sell lift tickets online, taking advantage of Inntopia’s best-in-class API interface with RTP, a common point-of-sale system in the ski industry.

Licensed Mental Health and Alcohol and Drug Counselor Jeff Nowlan has joined Gifford’s Behavioral Health team. He is managing the Behavioral Health program, helping to further the integration of Gifford’s Behavior Health and Addiction Medicine programs into the primary care practices. He will also be counseling patients. Most recently Nowlan was counseling program coordinator at Spectrum Youth and Family Services in Burlington, Vt, and brings experience in program management and in both adolescent (12 years and up), family, and adult counseling.
