The Board of Directors of the Vermont Ski and Snowboard Museum in Stowe, VT is excited to announce that Deb Taylor has been selected as their new Executive Director. Deb worked for 11 years as Director at Camp Sewataro in Sudbury, MA and brings extensive experience in leadership, administration, communications, events, and development to VTSSM as it moves into a new era.

Circus Smirkus welcomes new Executive Director Jennifer Carlo

Circus Smirkus today announced that Jennifer Carlo, PhD, has been named the new Executive Director of the circus arts education organization. Carlo is the former Vice President For Student Engagement and Dean of Students at Carlow University in Pennsylvania and comes to Smirkus with more than 25 years of leadership in higher education, youth development services, and nonprofit arts management.

Grace Cottage welcomes new CEO

The Board of Trustees of Grace Cottage Hospital has appointed Douglas S DiVello to the position of chief executive officer, effective February 12, 2018. DiVello is replacing Roger Allbee, who announced his plans to retire last July. DiVello was the CEO at Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, NY from 2012-2017. From 2002-2012, he was VP of the Professional and Support Services Division at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME. Di Vello is a graduate of Western Maryland College with an MPA in Health Administration from Long Island University.

Community Care Network (Rutland Mental Health Services, Inc and Rutland Community Care Network, Inc) is pleased to announce that Michelle Michalkovic, MSW has joined the Behavioral Health division as Director of Residential and Emergency Services. In her new role, Ms Michalkovic will oversee two residential programs and the Emergency Services team of clinicians and case managers. Ms Michalkovic recently moved back to the United States from Switzerland. Prior to leaving the states, she was the Director of Adult Mental Health Services for the State of New York.

Community Care Network (Rutland Mental Health Services, Inc and Rutland Community Care Network Inc) is pleased to announce that Erika Lamb, CPA has joined the organization as Controller. Ms Lamb was previously a Certified Public Accountant with Grippin, Donlan, Pinkham of South Burlington. Ms Lamb will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and finance team to oversee the daily financial operations of both companies under the CCN umbrella. In addition to her duties with the organization, Erika is a volunteer and Board Member for The Mentor Connector.

Healthcare leader Alvarez joins CVMC as VP of Support Services

James “Jim” Alvarez, MSM, LSSBB has joined Central Vermont Medical Center as Vice President of Support Services. He started in the role Jan 8. As Vice President of Support Services, Alvarez provides executive leadership to those teams maintaining the hospital’s physical structures, as well as to those providing many of the non-clinical services within it. These areas include Central Sterile Reprocessing, Environmental Services, Materials Management, Nutrition Food Services, Plant Facilities, Property/Project Management, Support Services and Security.
