Catering By Dale, an 18 year old local successful catering company has been acquired by Susan Thompson of Vermont Made Weddings to offer full-service, one-stop event planning services. CBD Events LLC continues to offer upscale catering including planning, consulting, floral design, bar service and a new food truck. CBD is a Preferred Caterer for many local venues as well as Estate-style events throughout VT.

Executive Director Sarah Carpenter announced that Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) has hired Sarah Woodward of Barre for the position of Development Underwriter. Woodward comes to VHFA from Aeon in Minneapolis, Minnesota where she worked as a site manager and compliance technician for affordable housing developments. Woodward is a graduate of the University of Vermont who previously worked for the Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity on mobile home parks and other housing issues.
